Susanna Tovmasyan
Susanna is an undergraduate in the class of 2023, majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Accounting at the University of California, Los Angeles. She was born and raised in Armenia and moved to the United States at age fifteen to pursue higher education and fulfill her dreams. Currently, she studies the characterization of functional amyloids, prion-like proteins, and their biophysical and functional specificity in the cell. Susanna hopes further to enhance her knowledge in electron microscopy and crystallography.
