I completed my Ph.D. in Biology studying the biophysics of membrane proteins at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. I performed my postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Los Angeles in the field of biotechnology, with a focus on development of antibody fusion proteins for the treatment of cancer. I currently lead the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in the Institute of Biology and Experimental Medicine (IBYME) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I work on the rational development of monoclonal antibodies for the therapy of infectious diseases. I am interested in the development of biological agents against disease in emerging economies.
